1% Startup Marketing ChallengeWeek 18β Hey folks! π Think you have enough social proof on your website? Sorry, I'm here to share that chances are you do need to add more (different types) of social proof, and not just to your Home page. Why? Because social proof is like a subtle tide moving your audience in the right direction. Just ask our Social Proof Seagull π€£ There are so many ways to do it, and you can inject it at almost every turn without it actually seeming like social proof (that's the real art). But let's keep it simple. This week's marketing challenge brings you a bunch of ways you can do it yourself, quickly., Remember: If you missed any of these weekly challenges or want a refresher, you can see them all here. β Challenge #18: Add more social proof to your websiteLet's go! π« Add micro social proof under (or even within) your home page banner. Think mini carousel, scrolling left-right before people scroll down the page so they can't miss it. What's on it? Data, accreditations, quotes, logos (if you must). π« Beef up your existing client logo carousel (when was the last time you updated it?). π« Add a partner or media section e.g. "As seen in" with media outlet logos or "Proud to work with" with partner logos. π« Add a testimonial section to your home page. If you already have one, update it, add to it and make it a carousel or swipe. π« Add that same section on your main call to action page (e.g. Book a demo) beneath the main section. π« Update at least one heading on your home page to show traction. e.g. "Unblock marketing for your startup, like 100+ others". π« And here's a subtle one: Add your location in your footer. E.g. Sydney, Australia if your location helps people trust you (e.g. know that you're in the same time zone as them, and you "get" them). And we're just getting startedThere are hundreds more social proof ideas and examples out there. Here are some of my go-to's. Some will take a bit more time to implement but they're well worth it. Because social proof in 2025 is non negotiable... and more than a generic quote from "John, CEO". Any feedback? πWe'd love to hear it. Did you try this challenge? How did it go?
